Chương 17  What factors contribute to the success of traders?(2)

I won't begin my argument based on my personal experience, as it would be too subjective. Instead, let me start with an event that occurred around us. On November 16, 2002, a man in his 50s was admitted to a hospital in Foshan for SARS treatment. Unfortunately, his death marked the beginning of the official spread of the SARS virus. In the early stages of the virus's spread, there were only a few sporadic cases until the first super-spreader appeared, later known as the "Guangzhou Poison King," Zhou Zuofeng. Zhou's job as a seafood wholesaler made it unclear how he contracted the virus, given that seafood is not a host for the SARS virus. It must have been due to some accidental factors. While receiving treatment in the hospital, he infected nearly 70 medical staff, including a nephrology professor named Liu Jianlun. After coming into contact with Zhou, Liu took over the virus's spread and attended a relative's wedding in Hong Kong, where he infected nearly 20 hotel guests. One of them returned to Canada, while the other went to Singapore, spreading the virus further. Liu eventually passed away in a local hospital.
Most of us are familiar with the SARS virus, given the media frenzy that followed. However, I am curious about why these new and unusual viruses tend to emerge at particular times and places and spread in such a way.
From a viral perspective, these viruses have existed in the world for much longer than humans. They have lived in parasitic hosts in the past, occasionally causing harm to small birds in the forest. However, due to certain accidental factors, these viruses have spread from parasitic hosts to expanding hosts and come into contact with susceptible humans. The question remains whether this process is a spontaneous accident or manipulated by certain factors.
In the end, it is unclear whether humans will ultimately triumph over these viruses or if the virus will be controlled due to certain reasons. We cannot be too arrogant in our assumption that we can defeat these viruses. It is believed that when God, or the creator of natural laws, designed the SARS virus, some kindness was reserved. Unlike the flu and other diseases, SARS has symptoms that appear before transmission, which is the opposite of what virologists call "danger ahead, warning behind". This explains why the flu caused such widespread death worldwide from 1918 to 1919, as patients were highly infectious even before obvious symptoms appeared. However, with SARS, symptoms appear first and then transmission, allowing for diagnosis and isolation of patients before the peak of transmission. As a result, medical personnel became the focus of infection.
If this is true, then the starting point of this virus was accidental, and the end point is/>/>/>/>
