U.S. July CPI released on Thursday rose 3.2% year-on-year, before seasonal adjustment, lower than the expected 3.3% but higher than the previous reading of 3%. July core CPI before seasonal adjustment rose 4.7% year-on-year, hitting a new low since October 2021, compared to the expected and previous figure of 4.8%.
