Resistance, on the other hand, is a price level at which there is enough selling pressure to prevent an asset's price from increasing higher. In other words, resistance is a price limit over which an asset's price is unlikely to climb. It is frequently viewed as a selling opportunity by traders who predict the price will fall from this level.
