Analysts do not expect any material change to end its negative interest rate posture with most projecting that to happen possibly next year. Traders, on the other hand, are focused on any hint from BoJ Governor, Kazuo Ueda at his post meeting briefing for clues of such a move. If his comments come across as reinforcing inflation will achieve the 2% target, it could raise expectations of an end to negative rates in January. If so, USD/JPY may fall.
